hi  Rahul,

i had the same as ur wife's , i had a dermoid cyst 12cm on my left ovary. i had a laparatomy surgery( c-section like) FEB. 2, '09 and the doctor found out it was inside my ovary, so i had incision in my left ovary to dug the tumor out as well.  im now approaching my 5th wk and healing well, the doctor said they suspect it is benign! as most of dermoids are but we are still waiting for lab results this week.  i can walk limitedly and move slowly now and still healing.  My prayers for you and specially for your wife!   God Bless!

The ca-125 is not that much higher than normal...My friend had a dermoid tumor..they removed her ovary along with the tumor. I dont beleive a dermoid can become a malignancy but a tumor that size should be removed. Good Luck :)
