Side effects of chemo

My sister was diagnosed with stage 3 OVCA in 2010.  After surgery in which everything was removed, she had chemo.  One of the many side effects was nerve damage to the soles of her feet.  She experiences pins and needles and can hardly walk.  It has been 2 years since and even though her CA 125 is increasing again, she still has trouble with the pain in the soles of her feet.  Does anyone have this experience and is there anything for her?

The medications for Neuropathy do not affect my Ovarian Cancer. The Taxotere and Carboplatin / chemo were rough. I almost died I lost so much weight. I could not eat until I was off them for six months. I am now in a Clinical trial. I am on Doxil and AMG 386 or a placebo. These drugs are much better. I am tired but I have my hair and can eat. My Cancer spread with in the first year to my lymph system and liver. I do not know how the trial is going I get a CT Scan next week.

I am no doctor. I do have nerve damage from MS. I have stage 4 Ovarian. There are medications like Lyrica for Neuropathy. There are also anti seizure drugs such as Neurotin which are used for nerve pain.
