Please Help

I am 37 years old with 5 kids. I have been healthy my whole life.  For a while now I have been experiencing, extreme gastric pain, sharp and burning pains in my lower abdomen, pressure in my belly and pelvis, sometimes the pelvis pressure is so bad I can't sit.  I do have trouble with constipation and have been taking fiber, it helps some. My stomach is swollen like a ball around my navel and has added about 3 inches to my waist measurement.  I have constant pain in my back above one hip, with off and on again burning pains above my hips.  The pains last probably half of the days of the month, worst after my cycle and two weeks into my cycle, they usually last a week, but the rest of the days I have symptoms at least 3 or more times throughout the days.  I have also had extremely heavy periods. I have had the symptoms for a year or more, but are more frequent and painful lately.  I have had nausea, headaches and fatigue.  I was diagnosed with iron defeciency anemia and had an ablasion two weeks ago.  After the ablasion I stopped taking the iron supplement and am still fatigued, also the headaches and nausea seem to be back. I have been on protonix for 20 days, twice now, and levisin, both don't seem to work. I had an abdominal ultrasound a hysteroscopy and urine tests done.  All normal.  My Maternal Grandma died of ovarian cancer, and my Father has had colon polyps. I really feel there is something my Doctor is missing but am afraid of sounding like a hypocondriac.  Do I need to push for further tests, or can I rely on the tests already done.

Sorry if I was confusing, I haven't had any pain from the surgery.  The pain I had was the pain I've been dealing with off an on for several years.  I had that pain about 3 days before the ablasion and the same pain for about 4 days after.  Which if fairly normal for me lately.  I will be fine for a week or so then it will come back.  I haven't had that pain since 4 days after the surgery, I have been having the normal daily shooting pains I usually have that only last for a minute or so.  The pain from the surgery felt like the normal cramps that I used to have before all this started several years ago.  That pain only lasted a day and I was fine.  It has been two weeks from my surgery, and exactly 4 weeks from my last cycle and I started bleeding again today.  It's not nearly as heavy as I was having, (which is nice!) it's more like a light period.  Is that normal?  I was under the impression that usually there wouldn't be any more bleeding during cycles, that only 5% of people will have light periods after.  So with my history of pains and still having the bleeding, What should I do at my follow-up?  Do I press for more tests to rule out Ovarian or Colon problems, or should I just wait and see if the pains continue or get worse?

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
hi There
if you are having extreme pain since a procedure, you should go to the emergency room. You may have an infection. It is also possible to have a perforation of the uterus. Please get attention for this right away.
take care
