fluid in the endometrial cavity

Hi all, my 16 yr old daughter has bleeding for roughly 3 weeks a month, constant stopping and starting. she has constant period like pains. Her ultrasound shows fluid in the endometrium, which is anechoic. She is on the pill, 50mg microgynon. the ultrasound was done when she should have been mid cycle, but with the constant bleeding is it really mid cycle?
She has been on this Pill for about 15 months, the bleeding changed about 5 months ago.
What does this fluid mean and should we be worried, have to wait another week before we can get back into doc
Thanx for any responses

The bleeding is no fun. I had a friend who had that she finally out grew it. I hope it is something benign. I had bleeding right before Menopause. I sometimes bled 28 days straight that is no fun at all. The pill just made me bleed more thgrough out my life. I feel for her.

hi, we are just seeing normal GP. I guess depending on what it means it may progress to gynae. my daughter is more concerned about bleeding constantly because it is annoying lol, I havnt spoken that there may be something underlying about it. he has enough pressure with exams at the moment.thanx for your reply

I have no clue what to tell you. I know you must be worried. Because you can't see ta woman's reproductive organs from the outside it really takes a Doctor in person to figure these things out. I know waiting is no fun. I have learned from my own experience that worry is me trying to control the future and I can't. Mostly what I worry about does not come to pass. Other bad things I have not thought of do but not what I get my self sick over. I now leave the worrying to the people in white coats. It is harder when you are a mother. You want to save your children from all pain. Are you seeing a Gynecologist or a Specialist? You can always ask to see a GYN/Oncologist. They deal with more than just cancer. They deal with more complex stuff than a regular Gynecologist. If they send you to one do not assume its Cancer it could be something complex but benign. I am sorry you have to wait. I am sorry she is having such a tough time of it. I feel for you both.  Hang in there. I hope you get answers soon.
