Thanks so much I am meeting with my PCP Friday I trust her and she is a cancer survivor so I am feeling that she will point me in the right direction. The gyn said she would do the biopsy in the office she prescribed something to soften the cervix. I willdefinetly wait to see what the MRI says. It is scheduled for 12/6. She ask that it be done with contrast which I am a bit uncomfortable with as I hear it can cause a reaction and renall failure. Do you know anything about the MRI's If I have it done without contrast would it be useless? Thanks Again for the support it is so good to have someone to talk to . sissy
I think I would go ahead with the MRI and then , depending on what it shows, consider a biopsy if that is what a gyn/oncologist says should be done. I would definitely want a gyn/oncologist involved before any invasive procedure.....having a gyn/oncologist perform any type surgery is so very important.
Being scared is perfectly normal......if you weren't you would be made of stone! You have much more support here than you can imagine, girl! It's okay to be scared....to be mad.....to think why me ? All of it is normal and familiar to most of us here....so, don't be feeling alone or that you should be "grateful"..............hmm......we are here for you....try to be good to you.
Peace.

thanks I needed tha said. I guess I do I am just scared. So many people worse off thoughh I should be grateful. Thanks for making me realize it. I just need some support.
I would want to know what's going on if I were in your shoes. You are lucky to have a doc who is listening to you and trying to get to the bottom of your issues.....so many women who come here have been patted on the head and sent home only to find out later that something was indeed wrong.
Good luck.
Peace.
