walks in Texas for Ovarian Cancer

Hello,
I saw on other posts that in some areas there are walks to raise money and awareness for Ovarian Cancer. I went to NOCC and Ovations websites but did not find any events in Texas. Does anyone know of events in Texas? I would love to be a part of an event that is specifically for Ovarian Cancer.  Hope everyone had a nice Easter/Passover. Julie

Thanks. I found three chapters in the state of Texas.

To justscore...there is a Dallas  NOCC chapter and they have a walk scheduled on Sept. 26th.

I live between all three chapters..so it will depend on which walk schedule works best for me.

Where in Texas????  I know that the NOCC does have a presence in Texas, they might not have posted the walk date yet.  Try emailing the chapter....not very easy to get to, but, if you click on chapter maps and then location you will find the info.

If you get no where, let me know and I will see if I can contact someone and find out what is going on.

Hi,
I am going to call the American Cancer Society this afternoon and ask them about any ovarian cancer awareness/fundraiser activities in Texas. If they don't know of any I say lets start one.  Julie
