Achy post op

I had lap surgery for removal of complex 10 cm cyst and my right ovary on Thursdsy.  By yesterday I was doing really well as long as I didn't sit upright for more than 15 minutes.  Today I have been achy all over and in my joints and I can't seem to get relief.  Even percoset is not helping.  I walk, I try to stretch, it this related?

I think the Joint pain was the worst part.  My shoulder pain was minimal but the achy joints were not helped by anything and made it so I couldn't sleep either.

Landzzzz... take care, heal for a day, and get a family member to start getting aggresive to get info.  It is horrible that you had no information.  Please keep us posted.

Aches & pain is defense mechanism of your body telling you to stay put, take it easy & rest. Please try not to over exert yourself with walks & stretches. I'm 10 days post op laparotomy & I'm still sore. It gets a little better every day & with each day, you can walk that bit further, or stand & sit that much longer. All in all, just take it easy, good luck with your recovery!
