Has anyone else received a horrible e-mail today? I cut and pasted it to MedHelp.. just wondered if anyone else has received one ?? That is I hope Med Help got it.. I sent to "contact us" .. Looks like a really smarmy character has now invaded us.. I didn't want to post on regular forum.. It was really pathetic..

Thanks for doing that...but I got another one but not quite as bad and he's a friend already of some people so he might be legit but I don't think so. But I won't mention who he is here b/c again he is a friend of some...But I blocked him.

Medhelp got rid of "my offensive jerk".. They dropped me a line asking that I please forward--copy & past--link . whatever way you can do it anything like that to them. They got my weirdo banned .. Bet if you sent the above to MedHelp they'd find a way to get rid of him/her, etc. I just can't figure out how they get on here to get linked to our e-mail system .. It's just a nuisance .. I'm way too old to let that cr** worry me.. I just copied and pasted the e-mail and sent it to "contact us" Evidently there's more than just ours..

I have not gotten anything here either. I'm sorry you got such an upsetting e-mail. Hopefully MedHelp will take care of it.
We had some real shady characters on the forum RIGHT BEFORE you came and it kind of upset things around here. It still isn't back to normal, but we are trying to get back to some normalacy.
I would definitely copy and paste all emails to medhelp as they are pretty good at keeping off the weirdos, but some of the people that find there way here just creep people out and that is what they want to do. Some people are just sick.
As for not driving. I used to be all over the place and I have only driven maybe 4 times since Christmas. Now that gets old. Most days I don't care, but occasionally there are days when I miss my old life & the old me.
I hope you are doing okay today and that you are healing up well. I used an Aloe plant on my scar and it is doing very nicely. Don't push yourself though as your body has gone through a lot.

We have had some real whackos in this community over the last two months which is why some of us are so on edge about new people, especially the ones that don't seem to have any apparent reason to be a part of this forum. The weird emails come and go and they can be very upsetting, but please don't let it get to you to much. You have no idea how many sickos are out there that love to mess with dying people. I didn't get an upsetting email today, but I have had my fair share.
I still don't get why people join forums they have no connection with or contribute to. I would feel like a peeping tom if I joined a community where I had nothing to contribute. I know these forums are open, but it still creeps me out when people lurk around. I wish they would understand, but they insist on not understanding and taking it personally to boot. Oh well.

If it came through to your "messages" and you'd like to stop things like that, you can go to your 'settings' on your profile page and make it so only your friends can leave you messages. That would block anyone else and if they want to invite you as a friend, you can still add people to your friend list but you can first check out who they are.
