How to long to heal after surgery?

I had laparoscopic surgery 3 weeks ago and they removed a 14cm cyst and also took the ovary it was on.  I healed up well enough and am back to my usual routine.  But I still am having a noticeable bloating when I eat and I feel on my right side (the same side they removed the ovary and cyst) a sort of stretching ache sensation inside whenever I have to go poo. Is that still normal after 3 weeks post-op?  I'm so freaked out that this is some unrelated thing that they missed, but the doctor said my appendix was healthy and she even gave me a bunch of glossy photos of my insides that she took while in there.

You are still early post-op so I would not be concerned at this point. It should gradually improve over time. Hoping that is the case!
