Ovarian Cyst Removal Post-Op Appointment

I just had a large ovarian cyst removed laparoscopically a week ago and I go to the OB/GYN in a week for my post-operative check up. What can I expect at this appointment? Prior to this surgery I have never been to a women's doctor and I just would like to know what to expect at such an appointment. Should I expect a pelvic or just checking my incisions or what? If any of ya'll have an experience with this situation and could enlighten me that would be awesome!! Thanks!

They dont really do much. they check to see if you are feeling okay and that incision area isnt infected. Mine gave me a copy of the surgery report.

I think all they'll do is give you your pathology report and make sure your incisions are healing properly. At least thats what my doc did.  I don't think they'll do an internal test just yet.

Likely youll go over your pathology report of the cyst (so will find out if its cancerous or not), and you'll have your incision checked, and then if you have any questions, etc that'll be the time to ask it. I think thats about all that happened about mine
