Complex Ovarian Cyst and Nodule

Six months ago I had an US and found a 4cm complex cyst in my right ovary.  I just had my repeat US and found a "nodule" 1.5 cm x 1 cm in right ovary, possibly left from previous cyst. Now they want to have a repeat US in 3 mos.  Has anyone else had a cyst and then a nodule after?  This whole nodule thing concerns me.  The nurse explained that a cyst is a sac and that this is tissue or more of a solid thing.  I am going to ask for the entire reports this week.  they said these were common findings

Emily,
How big is your cyst? Is it complex? Is your doctor just monitoring it for now to see if it resolves?

I can't recall how big.... It has a nodule and separations. I'm scared about it.  I will probably want to have it removed. This anxiety is just not worth it.  How are you doing?  I know it won't resolve... I can feel it!  UGH!
i don't have have nodules, but my mass is complex, mostly solid..has separations as well...have known about it almost a year. i am debating about surgery because i think about it so so much and i think of all of the worst case scenarios. mine is grown ever so slightly, and is now about 44x38x44mm...
Can you please keep us updated.  I will do the same.  Follow up ultrasound in another week.

I am very sorry that NO ONE responded to you.  I am not sure you will even see this post, but I am going through the same exact thing.

I hope that you are okay...
