Pain after Ovary removal

've had a giant cyst and my left ovary removed 2 years ago, since about a year ago I started having really weird pains in the exact same spot where my ovary was. Sometimes it's extremely severe and other times it's just a dull aching pain but it's constant. I've also gained a lot of weight that I can't really explain or get rid of ? I also sometimes bleed after sex. Please help.

Welcome to the community. It is possible that some of the cells were left behind during surgery (ovarian remnant syndrome) which could have caused you to develop another cyst. Adhesions (scar tissue) can cause some mild pain or discomfort but probably not moderate or severe pain. Loss of an ovary can permanently disrupt natural hormone production which may explain the weight gain. An ultrasound may be a good idea.
