Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
I have polycystic ovarian syndrome, and have been having intense pains. Some doctors are saying that it can be kidneys, some say that the pain is because of the cysts! Some docs say that the cysts are not suppposed to hurt. Does polycystic ovarian syndrome cause excruciating pain? If not, what could be wrong with me. My mom died from cancer and i am worried that it could be.
I don't know much about pcos. I have read that it should not cause pain, but everyone is different. I understand your fears as I also watched a parent die of cancer. My dad passed from kidney cancer 4 years ago. (Just to let you know, his cancer was very advanced before he had any pain or symptoms.) I am sorry that I am not much help but I just wanted to let you know that you might get more in depth responses on this subject by posting the the Ovarian Cyst forum. The ladies on both these boards are great and the ladies on the OvCy board may have been or may be going through similiar situations.
