Have recently found that I have a cyst the size of large melon on one ovary, and have been sheduled to have surgery in a couple of months time. However, my gynae surgeon has arranged for a 'bowel surgeon' to be there at the same time as he will need to operate on me at the same time. I was so flabbergasted when he said this, that all sensible questions went out of my mind. Only afterwards did I realise that I should have asked him why we needed this other surgeon. Was my cyst entangled around by bowels etc.
So was wondering if any one else on this site has had similar problems, and similar ops at the same time, and if so, why was it required. I would really appreciate some help and advice on this if possible.
Thanks
