dermoid ovarian cyst

i am diagnosed with 8cm dermoid ovarian cyst. my gyn said it's not possible for her to remove this dermoid cyst with laproscopy because of my previous  c sections. I just want to know is it safe to go for laproscopy after c sections.

I've read that having had a c-section(s) can present problems for abdominal surgeries. But I don't know if that specifically applies to laparoscopic route or not. You may be able to do a web search and get some information. Keep in mind too that some doctors do not have laparoscopic skills and may not admit that is the reason for recommending a different route. Of course, this may or may not be the case for your doctor.

I had my dermoid cyst removed laparoscopy and I had a c section. They went in through my bellybutton and on each side above my ovaries. Try a second opinion.
