PTSD after a sexual assault?

I was drugged and sexually assaulted one month ago.i dont like to leave the house since it happend cause he knows where i live and there is a car that come by my house every night at the same time.it really scares me.i dont like to be touched or be close to any guy.i stay up until 5am cause i hate the dark and wake up around 2pm.are these signs of PTSD?i dont really have anyone to ask or talk to about.

i would report this to the police at least you will have a police report that this happened to you and you could build a case against the scum-bag that hurt you i suffer from nightmares and flashbacks when i came back home all i wanted to do was get drunk all the time and then i quit recently i have PTSD since '95 and it is still with me like it happened yesterday i go to group therapy weekly and i take pills too :)

im not on med.i cant see a doc cause we dont have the money for it.if i ask my mum for it i get so many questions asked.my family doesnt know what happend.my friends only do.i have a counsellor but she is leaving at the end of the month and i dont think that i am going to another one cause she is my 6th counsellor.i didnt go to the police cause they dont do anything.

Don't let what's happened wreck your life. Did you report the assault to the police? Have a chat with your Doc. Somehow you've got to move on. Best wishes.

Yes, definitely.  Are you on meds? Do you see a doctor.  I think you need to.  I have PTSD.  I have not been thru something that.  Please get some help for what you are going thru, cause it will take time to get past the fear you are experiencing.  Do you have a support system?
