I agree side effects can occur causing weight gain for me it was respiridone and abilify

Most psychiatric medications have the side effect of weight gain - some more than others.  The thing you have to watch is if your food intake increases or not.  A lot of times your appetite and your beverage desire will increase causing weight gain.  Sometimes it is just the medication that does it.
