i fell at work off a 4 step ladder in feb 2009 hit head on sink and then hit the floor i have a doctor workers comp. i was fired 5 days after fall, initially my back ,right leg ,pretty much right side of my body would hurt and stayed sore i have had 34 sessions in physi ... [More] cal theraphy  mri on leg and back nothing shows signifacantly wrong doc's just say some swelling between disc in back and the knee is degeneration with a little swelling,my right wrist and lower arm ihas been slightly swelled since accident, right ankle swells from time to time right knee goes out on me probably three times a week, i have a hinged knee brace but knee still goes out i have had three serious falls causing more injury from knee going out when going down stairs, recently my head starting at the crown and going all the way down to back bottom of head has a pain (not migraine) it's like movement makes it worse,(now i have had in my life two other head injuries once when i was 18 was hit in head while being mugged and a knot came up over a three week period i went to a doctor he said it was a form of cyst so he removed it) (then about 10 years ago i was rearended in my car and hit my head on the dash and roughly a month an a half later same spot as the last time a knot came up even bigger i went to the doctor and this doctor said also it was a cyst,i asked why it came back up again i explained the past knot, he said some cyst's are cause from injury but never really answered my question so he removed it) well when i fell down the stairs from my knee going out i hit my head on  concrete and now two months later i have this huge knot bigger than the following times in the same spot, i mentioned this to the doctor and told him about the past ones, i want to know why this knot (cyst) (?) whatever it is keeps reaccuring and could it have anything to do with the pain in the back area of my head (the knot is in the hair area over my right eye) worried about anurisiam's!! i am on medication (naprozen-loratab7.5-phentermine 37.5-diazepam 10mg--amitriptyline25 mg-cymbalta 60 mg-gabapentin cap 300mg& max-alt foor migraines) any advice would gratly be appreciated i need a doctor who can tell me what is going on with me?!mine don't seem to have any answers!  before the accident at work i could move a refridgerator by myself, lift 50 lb's with a little strain, touch my toes with no problem, climb the ladder to my pool easily with no pain, walk a mile at least with no problems! now i can lift 10 pounds more with lot's of strain on lower bach, bending and squatting is out of the question without pain,i'm lucky to walk a 1/4 of a 1/4 mile before my back or knee goes out, have only used my pool three times due to pain climbing the ladder!!! aany advice i live in murray county georgia could use a good doctor !! love my doctor really but he is old and does not answer my questions!!

Hi Laurasunshine:

Sorry to hear of the constant injuries. It sounds like you need to be more careful of your surroundings. There are no Doctors in this particular forum but if you go to the forum page at the top of this page, you will find an expert forum located on the right side of the page. I suggest that you get your question in early as the Doctor only accepts limited questions and they fill up fast.

My other suggestion is to get an MRI done if you can as Sandee suggested. Talk with your Doctor about the possibility. I'm sure that if the pain continues he would be happy to do one. The MRI with contrast would be the best option. It gives a better picture of any problem that might arise.

Please take care and be careful...no more injuries.

PS- Using all caps in the post generally means that your shouting. You may want to use lower case next time you post. :)....Just a friendly reminder.

I am sorry to hear you are going through so much at this time.  I think sandee1818 gave you some excellent advice.  I can't think of anything I can add to that.

I hope you get some answers soon.  Good luck.

Hi,
Wow you have had an eventful life with all these injuries.
I know this was not part of your question but you should obtain an attorney for being fired as that illegal.
You need to have an MRI , have you had one done?
This will answer alot of your questions. I am not familiar with the area you live in as I am in Columbia county Fl.
Others here may be able to help with referring you to a doctor in your area. The hospitals usually have referral lines you should try this.
The recurrent cysts may be from injury or something else and you need to have a CT scan done to find out whats going on there.
Keep us updated and let us know how your doing.
