Hi! Welcome to the pain management forum. While we're not doctors, we do have a lot of medically savvy people on this forum. We offer advice and support using our own experiences.
You could have a pinched nerve. I get those shocks down my back occasionally from cervical neck problems. I'd suggest you see a hand surgery specialist.
Good luck. And let us know how you're doing. Stick around. I'm sure someone else will come along with more suggestions.
are you on any new medications? or have you stopped taking any medications? If it has to do with an anit-depressant or benzodiazapine, it could have to do with a neurotransmitter imbalance in the brain. Try taking omega-3 caps. Take 3 in the morning, 3 in the afternoon, and 3 at night everyday until the shocking pain is gone. You cannot overdose on omega-3, the body will expel anything it cannot use. Hope this helps!
