How often does your pain management doctors give you a urine test?

Just recently moved to a new town and started seeing a pain management doctor the first month he gave me a urine test but wouldn't give me pain meds so I ask my regular doctor about it and she gave me Tramadol. The second month he didn't test me but he gave me a small script. It wasn't enough for my pain, so I've been supplementing the Tramadol. It's almost time for my third visit and I'm wondering if they're going to give me a urine test this time? My second question is will it be okay if the Tramadol is in my system since I got it from my regular doctor, and it's not considered a narcotic?

Sometimes I get 2 or 3 in a row and then I might go a few months without one. They do what they can to not establish a pattern.
