How should I carry OxyContin?

I get my OxyContin in a blister pack. I do not have a old pill bottle for this medication. Should I put it in a different RX container?

In most states, you are required by law to only carry medications in a labeled, current prescription bottle. There can be legal problems if you do not, or carry them in containers not in compliance with the law in your state.
You can ask your pharmacy to send you a labeled bottle to carry if you need one. Most pharmacies are happy to do that.

I didn't really know this!  That's a great idea to call the pharmacy and make sure you are compliant and asking them to provide the bottle that you'd prefer to have the pills in.
