Learning to accept

If you are using a pain medication and it allows you to work, hang out with people, and eat. What good is there is trying to get off it or trying to find that "100% Pain Free Feeling"? Is it not better to have your pain level in check?

Hi Rockhawk,

I'm so sure what you are trying to say as I read two things, " trying to get off it or trying to find that "100% Pain Free Feeling"?  and "have your pain level in check? "

If you mean that you are on pain medications and you require them to function than by all means I agree with Opus. Why would you want to stop taking them and live in pain? As long as you are not abusing and you are obtaining them legally than I see no issue.

Good luck to you,
Tuck

hello rock, I agree...I worry about tolerance too however when the pain takes away from any enjoyment we have of daily living and activities than its not living is it!
Im coming to the conclusion that if used as prescribed and not abused that this medication is useful and welcome.
you take care and get out there and enjoy you're life, bless you
