Moneyless Mondays. What are some fun things you can do without money?

We all have times when we strapped for cash but still would like to get out and do things so what are some things you can do without money that are fun?

Imagine what we could have done if we had money-less economy (MLE). We can run the exact same economy in the exact same way without any kind of money.

Ah...lack of funds! My wise and wonderful Granddad was telling me the other day that now is not the time to be purchasing items that my household can do without, such as things like a new couch. I had to break it to him, "Ummm, Grandpa? I haven't done ANYTHING superfluous with my money in MONTHS. Not even a matinee. Not a t-shirt. Just grateful to fill my gas tank to get to work!"

So, my boyfriend and I (plus his son who lives with us every other week) have been trying to be more creative in ways that we can do stuff that is fun but either really cheap or no cost.

We're learning French from stuff we got (audio and print) from the library.
We're doing (non-new release) movie marathons on DVD (we just watched all the Pirates of the Carribean movies, which I'd never seen!)
We're taking walks and hanging out on our bikes along the shady lane we live on.
We're playing soccer or trying to hit baseballs at the nearby elementary school.
I'm doing a LOT of reading and gardening and my boyfriend is working on recording some music.
It's like when you're forced to be fiscally conservative, you adapt and end up enjoying yourself a ton.

lay out on the grass and just gaze at the stars ..if u can ...but it clears my mind everytime and surprisely breaks my migraines ,for a spell and it's free !!! i guess it's just nice to get a few minutes to one's self if it's cold i just wrap up ..

With gas prices the way the are you can't really drive for pleasure anymore and that was my thing so I take the girls to the park, the beach, the river. We have picnics and sometimes we put our air mattress on the back deck and sleep under the stars. The girls love to do that or course. I like to walk the mall but I have no will power and always buy when I tell myself I won't:)
