Not vicodin

My lung doctor told me that Vicodin was bad for my breathing. I would like to know what I can take, in place of it, for pain.

What do you see a pulmonologist for?  Who wrote the script for the Vicodin.  All opiates can supress breathing.  If you have a lung condition, maybe your doctor thinks the Vicodin may compromise your breathing.  Ask the pulmonologist what he would recommend if he's concerned with your breathing.

Hi, its only bad for breathing if you take more than recommended. All opeit based drugs have this effect. If your concerned, talk to the doc that prescribed them.
