Hi everyone. It has been a real treat to read what you have all been up to over the Holiday Weekend. I hope pain was the furthest thing from your minds! My family also went to our campsite and spent the weekend in the trailer. It is my favorite place on earth. I get to relax and even though I'm still cooking and cleaning and everything, my mind actually takes a break and sometimes that is the best medicine of all. We didn't have any family up or guests up so I didn't have to worry about entertaining anyone We just spent time with each other, My husband, my ten yr old daughter and me! It was great and the rain held off until the evenings so we got to get to the pool ( too cold for old mom) and bingo and the rootbeer float social, and the hay rides and water ballon tosses and so on. I have a smile on my face just thinking about it. Hope this post finds you all well. Ohhhh I'm going to post a medicine question so please head over there to take a look, thanks.

Well all I had a great cook out yesterday but was not able to walk last night due to the increased activity. I'm barely able to hobble today. I know that this was the last time I will host a big event. I had to give it one last college try.....and I still had a great time seeing all my family together.
I hope your celebrations are wonderful too.
In Pain,
Tuck
Wishing you happy hoildays an mollyrae an tuck i posted a question in pain man...........besides that everyone enjoy yourselfs trying to enjoy my family as much as possible i miss being part of it...................
We opened our Seasonal Campsite for the Summer last weekend and spent 2 days getting it ready for the Family. We have a 40ft. Dutchmen Camp Trailer that sleeps 10 on beautiful Pearl Lake in Northern Wisconsin. I wish it were our actual home on the lake but the Trailer is just as nice. This weekend the entire Family came up and really kicked it up. I'm not a drinker so I came home early for some R&R. Sometimes I think my Family came from the hills.
After getting home today, I was able to plant my summer flowers and hang baskets. The cats and I will take up a movie tonight before Hubby comes home tomorrow. Tonight is my night............Yippie
we will be going to mom's and my daughters grave sites and then taking dad out to dinner
I've been preparing for three days to have family over, approx 26. A big cook out on our lake. We live right on a Lake so there will be boating, fishing and maybe some swimming. I will be resting as much as possible. I will not be on the boat (too much jarring) nor can I swim anymore and fishing will take too much energy that I must save for entertaining. And of course no drinking as like the rest of you I take narcotics. But I will very much enjoy seeing my close family.
Today is the day so I better get the baked beans in the oven. I hope you all find some time to enjoy this weekend and that you can find some moments of comfort.
And I'll be remembering our veterans and those that are defend our freedom today and everyday!!
Having a big cook-out in our cul-de-sac with all my great neighbors and friends. It's a 'cul-de-sac' tradition that we have on every holiday. Good food, good drinks, and more importantly....... GREAT fellowship!!!!
slight walking, laying in recliner or bed, hanging out with the family, try to tough it out and go to see Terminator with my cute 12 yr old daughter.
Maybe go see a little of the beach if I can handle the one hour drive.
Trying to get better and avoid another back surgery.
i'll be sitting in my recliner.. like always!!
