Pain Mgmt Dr in Louisiana area ...

I have a friend on the MSK - Medullary Sponge Kidney community (we MSK people make constant kidney stones) who is looking for an excellent Pain Mgmt Doc in LA .. one who listsens and understands and will help treat her to regain her quality of life that has been lost to this disease.

Any thoughts where I can lead her to seek the right Dr?  Anybody have any recommendations?

I am sorry but I do not know any physicians in that area. You may want to goggle pain management physicians and than insert the city and state. There are some web sites that will offer the information you are seeking.

I wish your friend the best of luck. And you are a good friend for being supportive and helpful. I know that condition is extremely painful. I have had kidney stones seven times in the last eight years, not fun. I still have two lurking in my kidneys just waiting to move. So I can relate.
