Percocet rx

I had my Percocet RX filled on the 10th of this month in West Virginia, where I have just moved. How soon can I get another Percocet RX filled? In my last state there was a three day rul. So I could get the RX filled on the 7th!
It's been a bad month and I'm going to need it sooner than the 10th, so what's the guideline or rule in West Virginia?

In my state, which is not WV my pharmacy allows me to obtain my opiate prescriptions 2 days early - though I rarely do so.

It's not only the state, it's federal, the particular pharmacy and of course your insurance.

If your pain is not well controlled - meaning you need to fill early often - talk to your PMP and see if a change may be in order - either in the number of tablets, the dosage or the actual opiate.

Good Luck,

You will most likely have to ask your Dr or pharmacist about this. I live in another state and here it 30 day, no sooner then that. I really surprised you were able to get your prescription filled 3 days early where you lived before. I guess every state has different rules. Give your Dr a call tomorrow and they will let you know what the laws are.
