But what can it be? I went there and they just send me back home.
You might got to poop, med bind you up real good. Or having kidney/liver issues. Oral meds can damage them. If it not a bm, have your doctor run a live/ kidney panel on you which they should be doing yearly anyways when on oral meds.
On the surface, your symptoms sound like appendicitis. Your elevated temp, the referred pain, all points to that.
Sometimes ultrasounds do not reveal the true issue - they are not detailed enough.
Personally, I experienced appendicitis much like you are experiencing. The "twist" was I had a cyst in my intestine as well.
It took surgery to locate the problem(s). No test - and I had them all - revealed the truth.
Go to the hospital. They are probably thinking you are drug-seeking.
Thank you for your answer.
it's been a week that i've been taking those constipation meds, and the pain is just worse.
Did you go through the same things?
Oh yes I had to take constipation meds that really increased the pain - they were really caustic. Also enemas.
I had NO symptoms of constipation at all - none - and yet, I ended up having a bowel resection - a small portion of my intestines removed - because of the cyst and infection surrounding it and my appendix.
The apologies from the doctor afterward did very little to make me feel better. Sophie, if you have a fever and pain, there is something wrong. Please, please, go to the hospital. Go to another one if that one turned you away with such crap advice.
Look up peritonitis. That is absolutely possible.
Let me know what's going on with you.
But the fever comes and goes. It's not constant, and not always there. it's just sometimes there. And I just have this feeling of knowing that it isn't constipation that is causing all of this pain. I'm forcing myself to eat something, because I am just not hungry, i feel full, and that is not normal.
I just want an idea of what could all of this be....
kidney problems? maybe liver?
It's worse when I lay down, and at night, worse when I move.
Sophie, I am not a Doctor - I just feel like you have a legitimate medical problem that needs to be treated. Without the proper tests and their results there's no way to tell what's wrong, and then treat you. Please continue to go to the Doctor until you know what is wrong with you.
