I said paracetamol when I am in to much pain. She asked my why r u not taking amitriptline  which the hospital consultant gave u. I said that I can't cause of the side effects. But my GP still gave me amitriptline to take at night but I am scared to take it cause me and my husband r going to try for a baby soon.

Hi I am not quite sure what I have. But been told by doctors that I have is Flexor Tendonitis syndrome. That's why I was given Amitriptline to take.

What other health issues do you have? What is the problem with your arm and hand? Nerve damage? pinched nerve? I need more information to try to help you.

Why would she give you Amitriptyline?

I take Amitriptyline for Endometriosis and I feel that the only thing it does for me is fall asleep quicker. Maybe other people have found it helps with pain because I know that is why I was given it to begin with. I stay on it for sleep because I have a hard time falling asleep
