Question about prescription refills!

Hi there,

I have a prescription for 28 days and it's broken into 14 day intervals. I'm wondering if the pharmacy counts the day you fill the prescription as "day 1" or counts starting the next day. If I filled it on a Wednesday, would I have to wait until the next Wednesday two weeks later or could I fill it on the Tuesday? Following as prescribed I'd have no medication left on the Wednesday and I have chronic pain, so that is not a problem I want to have.

Thank you very much for your help! I'm a long time reader and first time poster to this website and I've always appreciated the information I've found here.

The day you fill is day 1...most pharmacies now only let you fill in the day due.
