Hello Ask,

I think you may be looking for MedHelp's Expert Chronic Pain Forum. There is not a physician in this community as there is on the Expert one.

I have supplied a link to the Expert Chronic Pain Forum.

http://www.medhelp.org/forums/Chronic-Pain/show/325

I have SIJD (SIJ Dysfunction). I have had it for many years. I am not an expert but I can tell you that the condition has brought me years of pain. Nothing has been effective in treating it. Cortisone injections are short lived. In the USA many physicians no longer consider them a good choice for treatment. Some insurance companies even deny payment for more than one SIJ steroidal injection. They will allow one for diagnostic purposes.

I see an Internal Medicine DO (Doctor of Osteopathy). Her manipulations do bring me some pain relief when nothing else has been effective. I know without them I would not function to any degree.

If you have non-expert questions on SIJD please feel free to send me a PM.

Best of Luck to You,
~Tuck
