Safe pain meds for chronic pain managment with PSC (Primary Sclerosing Colingitis)

Does anyone know of a safe pain med that won't bother the liver?
My liver is compromised due to PSC, and I need to be careful, but I need quality of life too.

Very true !
It is also VERY important to be followed by a doctor on a regular basis when on meds ( and I dont mean every six months).

Any narcotic pain meds require people being followed to make sure they are ok, have been prescribed the right thing and are not having serious side effects.

It's so important to get the right type of painkillers. I read a few articles here about how some people get addicted or commit suicide because of inappropriate prescriptions:

If the Hydrocodone/ibu 7.5/200 is not enough there are also compounds that contain a higher mixture of Hydrocodone but do retain the ibu. in there.

Correct spelling is "vicoprofen".

The best pain medication to take with any type of liver problem is Vicprofin, which is hydrocodone with motrin (vicodin without the liver damaging tylenol) It is medically safe to use while avoiding any damage to the liver... Hope this helps.. Let me know if you have any other questions, I have been an R.N for 10 years..
