I agree with you all. The only other thing I can think of is that sometimes the inactive ingredients in some medications cause a lot of problems in some patients.
Thank you this helped me out a lot. I was having the same problem and these suggestions helped.
It's always a good idea to eat something an hour or so before you take your pain medication. This may help the nausea.
I too have these issues and I found that if I eat before hand, the nausea is less likely to occur.

It is not unusual that in time medications can irritate the lining of our stomachs, any medication. Do you have any other symptoms? Has this been going on for some time or is it a new symptoms?
I agree that you should consult with your physician. I'd call and speak with his nurse regarding your symptoms until you can obtain and appointment.
In the mean time you may also discuss this with your pharmacist. There are a good source for medication information and are often under utilized. There are multiple OTC medications that may ease your nausea and vomiting.
Jaz is correct. Always take medications with a bit of food unless it's contraindicated. It helps protect the lining of our stomachs and can avoid nausea and vomiting. Tea would not be my choice as it tends to upset my stomach. I would and do drink some milk. However we are all different and tea may be effective for you.
Please keep in touch and let us know how you are doing. I will look forward to your updates. We wish you the best.

Ask your dr. to prescribe you an antinausea drug it's common , and if you throw
up your oxycontin you won't be getting any pain relief. It may be to strong for you.
It is common for this drug to cause nausea in the beginng of treatment. If you still
feel bad after four weeks taking it as directed, and you've tryed having your meds
with some toast, and butter, and a bit of tea It can make you sick to your tummy.
CALL YOUR DOCTOR> The same thing happened to me. Ginger helps in
crystal form to suck on, and ginger is now added to many teas . ,,
Take care,
Jaz
