What state are you in and......

Just wondering if there is a correlation between where you live and your daily pain levels? I know that not all days are the same with flares and good days but if you had to put a number on your average pain for a year what would you pick? and do you think it has anything to do with the state you live in?

I live in Alaska and the pain number I would pick is a 7

I think you are right about it being more to do with weather. I too have flares with storms and with the season changes. Thank you so much for your comment.

I thnk you're on to something, but I don't believe it has to do with geography, but rather with weather.

Many of us with chronic pain are sensitive to changes in temperature, pressure, and humidity. My pain flares when storm systems are moving in and out -- any change in barometric pressure. My pain is also more intense at sea level with high humidity, than it is at altitude -- I live in an arid part of the Rocky Mountains because of that reason. I moved here from California to get away from the humidity, and it's made a big difference in how I feel.

Of course, where ever you may be, it's a good idea to get out and get some exercise every day.
