Worried about mom

We just moved from Colorado and my mother is on disability. She had a great doctor who understood that she needed pain meds...she is disabled!!! Can barely walk etc... She can function with meds, but without them she can't even get out of bed!! She is getting very depressed and this has me very worried! We have been to several doctors and no one will give her anything even with her past records! Live in Shalimar but I will drive her almost anywhere. She is not abusing them, she never takes more than she is prescribed... Please help!!!

Try some of the bigger hospitals and see if they have a pain clinic or'if they could suggest some pain doctors.

What is her diagmosis and what meds is she on and how often and at what dosage.

With all the prescription pill epidemics, doctors are very fearful, and rightly so.  Good luck finding one.  Does her old doctor have any suggestions?

Something disk disease, something with her hip, and knee. She was on viocoden and Percocet.... Viocoden 3x a day and Percocet for when the viocoden was not enough. Old doctor wrote her as many refills as she could before we moved...that was all she could do. Went to hospital, they said to find a PCM... Not very helpful at all.
