chronic pain

I have chronic pain from C1 to mid back, at times the pain radiates around to my left chest andd  down my left arm. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia years ago,  But, I don't think this is fibromyalgia pain since it is more localized.
I have taken Lyrica without any reduction in pain.
Who should I see concerning the pain, a general practitioner, orthopedic, neurologist? An ER doctor tlold me that I had neuritis. Please help

If everything comes up ok with the neuro, then my suggestion would be to go back to your primary doctor and see if you can get in with a pain management doctor since you have a lot of pain to deal with.

I agree. I would start with your PCP if you need a referral--or even if you really trust your PCP. If you can self-refer, then I also think you should try a neuro.

If you need a referral for insurance purposes, start with your primary doc.  If you can self-refer, I'd go to a neurologist since the symptoms could be from a problem in your neck.
