Hi!
First of all you need a confirmed diagnosis that it is an acromioclavicular joint dislocation. This then needs to be graded. Grade 1,2, and 3 dislocations can be managed with physiotherapy and anti-inflammatory pain killers. However, grade 4, 5 and 6 dislocations need surgical reduction to place the joint in the original position. Post surgery also you will need physiotherapy. Please consult an orthopedic specialist as soon as possible. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.

I would suggest go for a chiropractor first. You might need a physical therapy for it. Physical therapy will helps to get rid of back or joint pain because of some accidents or injuries who does not recover even after operation.
