I have told the nurses to wake me if i am sleeping to give me my meds and they said ok that is not a problem. It is now sunday moroning at 406 am and they did not wake me up lastnite.  so i am in pain and she doesnot wangt to play catch up.  (it has been 30 min since i have called for my nurce and she has not responded i just pushed rhe botton and called her back in and fialy she popped her haed in and said she was getting me somemoe pain meds via IV)   ok I fell like a number rather than a patient who just had back surgey.  Now that you have alittle about me.  so here is my question since my pain is not controled what should I do?

Wow. So, you're still in the hospital? I hope that others will be on to give you some advice. Can you ask to speak with the doctor about this? Since you just had a major surgery, they should be controlling your pain! Please keep us updated.

Hugs,
