Have your surgeon or gp refer you to a Neurologist. I have nerve damage in my leg after major back surgery and double knee surgery. It has been over two years and the chronic pain I will live dose not make the nerve damage and the oain I aleeady have. Mine didn't gwt this bad untul after the surgeries. I just had an EMG rest done so they could rule out bone root damage which requires more surgery. I am know in low dose pain patches and a topical compound which has lessened rhe shooting pain that goes along with the numbness and pain. I wish you the best. I am a string believer in telling my doctor what test or specialist I want to see, otherwise it seems to drag on and on and I had it wirh doctors dragging thier feet while we live in pain and way to long recoveries. Take care of you and don't. Be afraid to ask to see other doctors, second opinions and specialisr!
13 months is too long. It could be nerve entrapment, nerve impingement or surgically related complications.
It could also be as simple as not following through with good rehab.
Also, where does the pain originate and where does it end? Where is the tingling? In the biceps, triceps, fingers? If fingers, which ones?
Have you had your neck checked?
Why the BTR, what else could have been injured from whatever caused it?
