even if being off the medication proves too difficult you may be able to go to a lower dose after having it out of your system for awhile. best of luck, great decision to make if you're in a position to do so. I recently went from 100mcg patch down to 50mcg patch and things are still good (enough). good luck man

Hey Brian:
Like I said in my PM to you.....I support your decision 100% and think that it's wonderful if you can live without the opiates. I wish I could too.......
You will always have my friendship, your a great guy !!!!!!
My best,

Good luck, I am proud of you,. I think at one time or another we all have been in the same place. Where you finally realize the doctor plans on you being on pain meds for the rest of your life. please be careful and know it is not failure if you have to go back on them. get lots of fluids, bananas are good for RLS, and take lots of hot baths. rest and exercise when you can. Know I am supporting you the whole way. I still love you and you will not lose me as a friend because of a life changes choice you made. It's your life. take care, good luck and please keep in touch.
hugs
Karen
