Abdominal Pain?? Constipation??

For about a month now (maybe longer) i've noticed a pain to the right of my navel. It would only hurt when i touch it. Recently, i noticed the pain on the left side too, as well as above and below my navel. The pain feels close to my skin, as if it's a muscle or vein or something. I went to a doctor about it and had blood work, a urine test, and xrays done and he told me it's because i'm constipated.

Okay, so i believe him about the constipation part, but i'm not convinced that that's why my abs are in pain when i touch them. i feel like the area under my belly button where it hurts most i can feel some kind of vein or something that gives me HUGE pain when i touch it. Any body have any idea what's going on??

Try treating the constipation (a fiber like Metamucil works well) Try a double dose for a week and see if the pain goes away.

I'm not a doctor so I can't give you any real advice, but if it were me, I'd have my gall bladder checked. I had symptoms similar and it ended up being gall stones that were blocking the "duct" causing pain. The regular tests all were normal, but they found them when they did an ultrasound on the area.
