to try and get back to your question instead of dickering over spelling i think the doctor makes a good point in that your own doctor will know you and your other medications and what your history is.as far as i know 30mg is a fairly strong medication requiring caution. OK?
Of course I just made the mistake of spelling misspelled incorrectly!! LOL
So, it shows we all make mistakes:)
No offense to you DR...but you have mispelled the medications.
It is Oxycontin (not Oxytocin which as I'm sure you know is a hormone released by the pituitary gland..."the bonding hormone"..
Oxycontin is Oxycodone just in a time released formula.
The other you wrote is Dilaudid which is Hydromorphone.
Again, not trying to be snarky here but I think we need to provide exact information for people, especially coming from a Dr. on this site.
Hi there,
It would have been really helpful if you had shared details about your symptoms. There many pain medications available but specific medications work better on certain conditions compared to others. Oxycodone is a commonly used medication by Doctors. It is used for moderate to severe pain.Oxytocin, Diloded are all pain killers but which is most strongest and suitable for any patient can be decided only by the doctor. Do keep me posted.
Take care and regards!
