I am currently taking 10 mg of oxycodone(w/o apap)  4x a day & 30 mg of oxycotin 3x a day. But the 30 mg oxycotin doesnt seem to be workin as before. Can I take roxicodone30 mg to replace the oxycotin along w/ the 10 mg oxycodone or are they the same,???

Be aware that the APAP is acetaminophen (Tylenol), and taking too much will destroy your liver, so don't take too much.

They are the same. Roxicodone is just a brand name for oxycodone. The oxycontin is extended release so it helps keep your pain level and then when you have breakthrough pain the instant release oxycodone will hit it hard and fast to get it under control. Only taking the instant release can be bad because you can have a lot of ups and downs, like during sleep it will wear off and you will wake up in a ton of pain and probably in withdrawals, with the ER it will keep you level through the night.
You should speak with your doc as there are many options such as increasing the oxycontin to 40mg or keeping it at 30mg but increasing your 10mg oxycodone to 15mg, or even exploring a different pain med.
Good luck, I hope you feel better!
