My. Baby only sleeps on my chest

My baby only sleeps on my chest. When I put him down to sleep, he wakes up and cries a lot. Since day 1, he is not sleeping in his crib. He only sleeps with me, on my chest. He doesn't swaddle up, he kicks his blanket off his feet. What should I do

HI!  Didn't see this.  I so remember those days.  Remember that babies get into habits.  If you don't love this habit, break it now.  :>))  I had one baby boy who wanted me and me only.  We had a rough 16 months where he couldn't put himself back to sleep and woke up about every 2 hours at night.  I was so exhausted.  He finally just slept through the night without waking at all at 16 months and is now a very good sleeper.  I have read that if you have a baby that needs you to fall asleep, the best thing is to get him woozy sleepy and then lay him down.  Let him cry a bit but they are already tired and often fall asleep.  So, lay baby down when 'almost' asleep but not quiet very gently and see how it goes.  This did work well with one of my babies.  How's it going now, by the way?
