Privates and having sexual dreams

My 4.5 year old keeps touching my little 2.5 year old's privates even after he gets in trouble. He knows that he is not suppose to do that but still does. Today I over heard him tell his little girl friend that he put his private in someone's mouth. HELP!!!! I asked him where he got that from and he said that last night when he was scared at night he had a dream that he put his private in a bad man's mouth. Im so scared I don't know if I should treat this lightly . Isn't a 5 year old too young to "dream" bout stuff like that. We do not watch anything bad on tv. Just cartoons and family shows. I don't know where he could have got this. PLEASE HELP ME OUT. I don't know what to do

I would take him to a child councilor. It is normal to be curious BUT when kids get graphic about it or doing it to others I would be running to seek help.Talk to him right.Ask him were he heard, seen or if this has been done to him.Don't scare him just talk.I would be VERY concerned that someone did something to him.5 yr old is to young to be dreaming or speaking that way! Taking him ASAP.Better safe than sorry.

This sounds like a mother's worst nightmare!  I would definitely be concerned about the possibility that this has actually happened to him.  I mean, even if he is only around people you completely trust, it's like I say to my husband, you don't know what a person is capable of until it's too late.  Is he around any older children, alone with any older boys EVER, or any men, even a grandparent or step-grandparent?  I would definitely take him somewhere where this type of behavior is thoroughly investigated.  The Children's Hospital my mom works at takes things like VERY seriously, and in most cases, something has happened, and it's usually by an older cousin or something of that nature.  My daughters have older boy cousins, and I watch them VERY closely when they play together.  I'd say that the touching could be normal exploration, if it weren't for what he told you about the bad man.  Please have this checked into by a professional, because if something did happen to him, you need to get him some help as soon as possible, so he doesn't end up doing it to other kids down the line (thinking it's normal and ok).

I would definitley talk to your doctor about this.  Sexual curiousity is very normal at this age, but the privates in the  mouth thing is a bit scary.  Are you sure this hasn't happened to him?  Any older children around that might have instigated this?

Other than he has seen or heard this behavior somewhere and it could be in the childs interest for it  to be addressed.

Could your son have seen this on anyone elses TV or PC does he visit friends Family ,when you are not there, any babysitters , actually this is graphic for TV it would have to be on the PC or a DVD .Have you asked him pertinent questions but in a lighter tone so not to make him afraid and clam up.It could also be he has overheard adult conversation about Sex and someone has been talking in a graphic way. check out all avenues as he couldnt simply dream it up could he.
