15 month old with fever for 3 weeks

My 15 month old daughter has had a fever for 18 days (straight) now. Daily it goes up to 103.5. When it spikes she gets very lethargic, does want to eat or drink and is irritable when awake. She has minor cough and runny nose. Stomach seems to be bothering her. She is pooping like every 3 or 4 days and having enough wet diapers. She has been seen twice at the doctors, only to be said it must be done sort of virus. I feel like this has gone on too long and something is really wrong since her body seems to still be fighting something.   Is it normal for a fever to consistantly go on this long? What could be causing it?

Go to a different doctor.  Until you get to the doctors office, I would log your babies fevers every hour to show the doctors a record.
