My two year old has had severe tooth decay since her first teeth came in. She breast feed until 14 month and then was switched to rice milk due to a dairy allergy. At 18 months I noticed decay. She had 6 caps and 4 fillings at 2 in April. She stopped using rice milk then. Just last month at a check up and cleaning she had to have another tooth filled and one of the crowns pulled. As we were fixing those we noticed more decay on at lease 6 more teeth , thinking her front bottom 4 need capped as well now. We brush, and have Florida treatments. She does not drink much juice or soda, or candy. We try to eat organic, and she loves fresh pressed vegetable juice. She seems otherwise healthy. I just can't seem to stop this decay. I just ordered remineralizing to oh paste and mouth wash for her. I started her on an oral probiotic, Venus Smile. I also was ordered a vitamin d liquid supplement.
I have a 4 year old as well and her teeth are perfect.
I've seen 3 differ t dentist and two were pediatric dentists and they gave me no solutions. I'm at my wits end! Any ideas?
