Birth with foreceps

Hello,
My wife gave birth by forceps, it was an urgent birth.
Baby came out with some facial paralysis, left side not moving and eye was shut but within a few hours those started to subside.
We are on day 2 and baby is eating fine is passing urine and poo and eye looks perfect and so does his mouth.
Our pediatrician is very positive about progress.
There are still some bruises on his head that I am concerned about pics attached.
I am looking for some advice and suggestions regarding additional tests or questions I need to ask to reassure me.
Baby is having hearing, eye and metabolic test tomorrow.
Bodily functions doctor said are good.
1) Could you help suggest any additional tests or anything else I need to be aware of?
2) Anything else we need to do?
Appreciate your help

Oh my goodness.  I feel terrible for missing this post.  How's your baby?  My child also was born with forceps.  Actually both of them. Both are fine. :>)  Give me an update?
