Foot injury

I dropped a wooden clipboard (with the metal part on top) onto my foot (accidentally of course) yesterday evening, at first there was a very blue bruise but it was small and Idk if it was swollen, and the shock from dropping it went on for 10-15 min. (thats pretty long) so I just rested it and watched a show, then went to sleep.  This morning I was sitting on the floor to get something and the top of my foot touched the floor, and the pain was excruciating.  And whenever, I walk on it, It feels uncomfortable, just like a little feeling.  Oh, and the pain I was describing would be classified as a stinging pain when I touch it or if it touches anything.  Sitting down, the uncomfortable feeling is there.  Now my foot is swollen not too much though and the bruise is a bit larger and its less blue.  Is this serious, did I break something or.... (also I am 12 so that's why it was under children's health)

I am not entirely sure. This doesn't sound too serious, but it's possibly a bruise that you can't actually see. You may want to have someone take you to the doctor to have your foot examined if it bothers you that much, just to make sure it's not serious.
