My 7 year old feels "scared "

Recently my 7 year old has said he "feels scared sometimes". I need to talk to him more about it to get more details. He says he isn't sure why. He is in a small school (12 kids in his class) and is doing OK and has friends. He has no health problems. What could this be? Child andnxiety, even if he isn't sure what's scaring him? I have a tachycardia, could he have it too and thinks the fast heartbeat is being scared? I thought tachycardia showed up later? What do I need to ask him specifically? When do I need to talk to his Dr about it?
